Tuscan Castle Wedding Venue Near Florence
The best thing about an event at Ristonchi is that everything is all at one location, without anything being in the same place!
When your guests arrive they’ll be shown to their rooms where they can unpack, freshen up or change into their swimsuit! On the first night at the castle after everyone has enjoyed their welcome prosecco and aperitivo you and your guests will have a make your own pizza party on the terrace in our wood fired oven. After enjoying plenty of wine and cocktails and talking late into the night when anyone feels tired they can retire to their bed just a few steps away.
The morning of the wedding day guests return to the terrace for breakfast. Lunch is served from a panini truck at the pool - so no one has to get dressed, they can play all day at the pool with a panini in one hand and an aperol spritz in the other.
Soon they will need to walk the short distance back to their rooms to get ready for the ceremony, which will take place on the lawn right by their rooms. After hearing your vows and cheering you on as newlyweds everyone will walk a few steps to the beautiful aperitivo area.
Once it’s dinner time they will walk through the olive trees to see a gorgeous view of the tables, bistro lights and the Tuscan sunset. Once they are full from the multiple courses of Tuscan deliciousness (and the cake!) you’ll all walk a few more steps down to the Rave Cave, our dungeon turned disco with open bar and DJ. If at any time a guest’s energy is fading they can take a short walk back to their room and be in their bed in under 1 minute! Having your guests stay onsite keeps everyone in a safe environment, no one has to drive, no one gets lost or has to deal with a stressful situation of waiting for transportation back and forth to different events.
The day after the wedding is everyone’s time to relax, but especially yours! All the stress should be long gone by now and you can take the day to enjoy all the people you love most in a beautiful place while no one has to worry about anything. On the schedule for today is a later brunch, BBQ pool party and pasta making class. You can add activities like a wine tasting or a karaoke party too!

Food and Beverage Program
All meals throughout your stay are included in our packages; from the welcome pizza party, breakfasts and brunch, a poolside BBQ, pasta making class, post ceremony aperitivo and of course the 3-course wedding dinner with a delicious modern Tuscan menu. We live in the Chianti region and our surrounded by vineyards with some of the best wine in the world!
We use fresh seasonal products we grow and produce ourselves, find locally or by fair trade. We provide fresh mountain spring water in glass jugs to reduce waste. We differentiate waste - recycling, composting, or feeding to our chickens. We strictly limit the use of disposable products.
One of the details our couples and their guests tend to love most are our mobile ‘Ape’ bars. We have two vintage Italian Ape trucks onsite. One set up as a Prosecco, beer & spritz truck, and the other as a full cocktail bar.
Rather than being fixed in one spot, they move with the celebration: pouring drinks during pizza night, popping up for aperitivo, or rolling into different moments across the weekend. It keeps the atmosphere lively and informal, and makes each part of the experience feel connected rather than segmented.
We know planning a destination is overwhelming! We did it for our own wedding in 2015 and have helped many couples do it since then.
